This wood is oak, which is local Spanish wood; as it is heat treated it takes on this darker tone.
This Taramundi knife is characterized by its very well-defined and elegant design line.
Its open measurement of 18.4 cm is very practical for daily use. It has a locking system which makes it a safe knife for use.
Sandvik 14C28N Stainless Steel: this is the steel that the craftsman normally uses for the assembly of this model. Martensitic stainless chrome steel, its chemical composition provides a combination of properties such as: Excellent performance and stability in the edge – Very high hardness – Good resistance to corrosion.
This steel is of very good quality and reaches a little more hardness in the temper, it does not have to be re-sharpened so often. However, re-sharpening will be a little more laborious.
